Trust

Proof of Reserves

How SatoriEx documents that the USDC it holds for users is fully backed, what we have today, what we don't have yet, and the path to cryptographic + third-party attestation.

Where we are today

SatoriEx publishes a live balance-transparency page at /proof-of-reserves (outside the docs section) that surfaces aggregate ledger totals alongside on-chain proxy-wallet balances. We are NOT yet at full cryptographic proof-of-reserves with a Merkle tree + third-party attestation โ€” that work is on the roadmap. Until then, the trust posture is best-efforts disclosure.

What we publish today

Three things are public and verifiable right now:

  • Aggregate ledger totals โ€” total user USDC balance, total settled payouts, open disputed amounts. Live at /proof-of-reserves.
  • Per-user on-chain proxy wallet addresses โ€” anyone with a user's wallet address can verify their on-chain balance directly on Polygonscan. The platform does NOT pool user funds into a single hot wallet.
  • Double-entry ledger invariant โ€” every balance change on the platform has matching debit and credit entries. Internal audits run nightly.

What we don't have yet

We believe transparency about gaps builds more trust than overclaiming. As of today:

  • No third-party attestation. No accounting or auditing firm has independently verified that ledger totals match on-chain holdings.
  • No Merkle-tree balance proof. You cannot generate a cryptographic proof of your individual balance against a publicly-published root hash without trusting our server.
  • No licensed-auditor solvency sign-off. SatoriEx has not yet engaged an external auditor.

What we're working toward

The path to full proof-of-reserves has three workstreams:

  • Merkle-tree balance proofs โ€” every user can independently verify their balance is included in the ledger root hash. Target: Q3 2026.
  • Third-party attestation cadence โ€” quarterly attestation by a licensed auditor against the published Merkle root. Auditor selection is planned; no engagement is in progress today.
  • Live on-chain proof โ€” once the CTF settlement layer ships (Sprint 3+, on the contracts page), user positions become directly verifiable on Polygon without any reliance on the platform.

Counterparty risk acknowledgement

Until cryptographic proof-of-reserves + third-party attestation are live, every depositor takes a degree of counterparty risk. We disclose this openly on the safety page. If your risk tolerance requires audited custody, please wait for the attestation roadmap items to ship before depositing significant capital.
